Manual treatment includes:

  • Hands-on care offering:
    • Dry needling
    • massage/cupping/myofascial release, scraping or IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization)
    • Joint mobilizations

Therapeutic activity:

  • Instruction and training on functional task
  • Lifting mechanics
  • Ergonomics assessment at workstation
  • Return to sport assessment for proper mechanics, injury prevention for mobility, endurance, coordination, etc.
  • Patient education on management of condition.

Exercises:

  • Exercise prescriptions to address mobility, strength, and endurance. Individualized instruction.

    Biofeedback can help patients learn to strengthen or relax their pelvic floor muscles. It is a painless process that uses special sensors and a computer monitor to display information about muscle activity. It is an adjunct tool used with other interventions and can help you gain better control over pelvic floor muscle function. Basically helps you learn to stop using the incorrect muscles or better help you find the correct ones.
